Island Bridges is a calm connection puzzle. Each island shows how many bridges it needs. Build straight bridges across the water between neighbouring islands — one or two between any pair — without crossing other bridges, until every island is satisfied and they all join into one connected chain. Thirty seas from 7×7 to 11×11 grow from simple chains to puzzles that need careful reasoning, and every one has a single solution.

How to play Island Bridges

Goal: Give every island exactly as many bridges as its number, with all islands connected.

Keyboard & mouse

  • Drag from an island toward a neighbour to add a bridge; repeat for a double, again to remove
  • Click a bridge to change it
  • Arrow keys move between islands, Shift + arrow builds a bridge
  • U or Ctrl+Z to undo, H for a hint, P or Escape to pause

Phone & tablet

  • Swipe from an island toward its neighbour to add or change a bridge
  • Tap a bridge to change it
  • Undo and Hint buttons below the sea

Rules

  • Bridges run straight across or down between two islands.
  • Two islands can share at most two bridges.
  • Bridges cannot cross each other or pass over an island.
  • An island turns green when it has exactly its number, red when it has too many.
  • All islands must end up in one connected group. Solve with no hints within the target time for 3 stars.

Tips and strategy

  • A 1 next to a single neighbour must connect to it.
  • An island whose number is twice its neighbour count needs double bridges everywhere.
  • Two 1s side by side can’t only link to each other — they would cut themselves off.
