Lot Escape is a sliding-block puzzle set in a packed car park. Cars and trucks can only roll forwards and backwards along their own lane, and your red car needs to reach the exit on the right. Drag the vehicles (or select them and use the arrow keys) to make space, one slide at a time. All thirty car parks were generated and checked by a solver that knows the fewest moves possible, from three-move warm-ups to knots that take dozens. Match the best count for three stars, undo freely, and ask for a hint that shows the next move of a shortest solution.
How to play Lot Escape
Goal: Drive the red car out through the exit on the right in as few moves as possible.
Keyboard & mouse
- Drag a vehicle along its lane
- Or Tab to choose a vehicle and slide it with the arrow keys
- U undoes, H shows a hint, P or Escape pauses
Phone & tablet
- Drag a car or truck forwards or backwards along its lane
- Undo, Reset and Hint are below the car park
Rules
- Vehicles only move along their length — horizontal ones left and right, vertical ones up and down.
- Slide vehicles out of the red car’s row to open the way to the exit.
- Sliding the same vehicle several squares in a row counts as one move.
- The fewest possible moves is shown as “best”; match it for three stars.
Tips and strategy
- Work backwards: which vehicle blocks the exit, and what blocks that one?
- Trucks take up three squares — clearing room for them is often the key.
- Hints show one move of a shortest solution from where you are now.
