Light Flip is a compact logic puzzle. Every tap switches a light and the four around it, so each move helps in one place and undoes work in another. Thirty boards grow from a gentle 3×3 to a tricky 7×7, and every board is checked by a solver, so the game always knows the fewest moves possible — match it for three stars.
How to play Light Flip
Goal: Switch every light on the board off.
Keyboard & mouse
- Click a light to flip it and its neighbours
- Arrow keys to move, Enter or Space to flip
- U to undo, H for a hint
- P or Escape to pause
Phone & tablet
- Tap a light to flip it and its neighbours
- Undo and Hint buttons below the board
Rules
- Tapping a cell flips it and the cells directly above, below, left and right.
- Lights that are on show a sun; lights that are off show an empty ring.
- Each board can be solved; "Best" shows the fewest moves possible.
- Solve in the best number of moves without a hint for 3 stars.
- Undo steps back one move (it still counts as a move).
Tips and strategy
- Work row by row: clear the top row by pressing cells in the row below it.
- Pressing the same cell twice does nothing — never do it on purpose.
- Corners only affect three cells, edges four, middles five.
- If you are stuck, a hint shows one move from a best solution.
