Tile Match is a relaxing tile-matching solitaire. Tiles carrying original symbols are piled into ten hand-made layouts — from a small pebble to a grand hall of 180 tiles. Pick two identical tiles that are free (nothing on top and one side open) to remove them. Every deal is built so it can be cleared, a hint shows a matching pair, and a shuffle rearranges the remaining tiles into a layout that can still be finished.
How to play Tile Match
Goal: Remove every tile in matching pairs.
Keyboard & mouse
- Click two free tiles with the same symbol to remove them
- Tab between free tiles, Enter or Space selects
- U undo, H hint, S shuffle
- P or Escape to pause
Phone & tablet
- Tap two matching free tiles
- Undo, Hint, Shuffle and New deal sit under the board
Rules
- A tile is free when no tile lies on it and its left or right side is open.
- Blocked tiles look darker and cannot be selected.
- Every deal can be cleared; Shuffle rearranges the remaining tiles so they still can.
- Hints and shuffles count as help: clear with no help within the target time for 3 stars.
Tips and strategy
- Work on the tallest stacks and longest rows first — they hide the most tiles.
- When several copies of a symbol are free, pick the pair that frees other tiles.
- Watch the “Moves” counter: it shows how many matching pairs are free right now.
