Five-Letter Guess is a word deduction game. Type any five-letter word and each letter is marked: green with a dot when it is in the right place, gold with a ring when it is in the word but somewhere else, and grey when it is not in the word at all. Use the clues to find the hidden word within six guesses. Everyone gets the same word each day in Daily mode, or play as many words as you like in Unlimited. Turn on Hard mode to force yourself to use every clue, and copy a spoiler-free grid of your result to share.

Rules
- Each guess must be a real five-letter word.
- Green with a dot: the letter is in the word and in the right place.
- Gold with a ring: the letter is in the word but in a different place.
- Grey: the letter is not in the word (or not as many times as you used it).
- Daily mode has one word per day for everyone; Unlimited gives a new word every game.
Tips and strategy
- Start with a word that uses common letters such as E, A, R, T and S.
- Do not reuse grey letters — every guess should test something new.
- Remember that letters can repeat in the answer.
