Air Hockey brings the fast table game to your screen. Drag your mallet around your half of the rink and strike the gliding puck: hit it hard and it flies, bank it off the rails and it sneaks past. Five rivals wait, from a slow-reacting Rookie to a lightning-quick Champion who lines up angled shots at the side of your goal. First to seven wins each match.
How to play Air Hockey
Goal: Beat each of the five rivals in a first-to-seven match.
Keyboard & mouse
- Hold the mouse button and drag to move your mallet
- Or use the arrow keys / WASD
- P or Escape to pause
Phone & tablet
- Touch and drag: your mallet follows your finger in your half
Rules
- Your mallet stays in the bottom half; the computer defends the top goal.
- Strike the puck with a moving mallet to send it flying — faster swings hit harder.
- The puck bounces off the rails; anything through the top goal mouth scores.
- After a goal, the player who conceded gets the puck.
- First to 7 wins. Stars: concede two or fewer for three, up to four for two.
Tips and strategy
- Bank shots off the side rails are hard for the computer to read.
- Stay between the puck and your goal when the computer has it.
- Hit through the centre of the puck to aim; glancing hits send it sideways.
