Paddle Duel is a quick-fire ball duel on a portrait court. Slide your paddle to return every shot: hit the ball off-centre to angle it, and move as you strike to put curve on it. Grab power-ups that drift across the middle — a wider paddle, a slow-motion ball or a surprise second ball. Beat five computer rivals, from a sleepy Rookie to a lightning-fast Champion, in first-to-seven matches.
How to play Paddle Duel
Goal: Win a first-to-seven match against each of the five computer rivals.
Keyboard & mouse
- Left/Right arrows (or A/D) move your paddle
- Mouse: hold and drag to steer
- P or Escape to pause
Phone & tablet
- Touch and drag anywhere to slide your paddle
- Your paddle follows your finger left and right
Rules
- Keep the ball from passing your paddle at the bottom; get it past the computer at the top to score.
- Where the ball meets your paddle sets its angle — the edges send it wide.
- Moving while you hit puts spin on the ball, so it curves through the air.
- Hit a power-up with the ball to collect it: wide paddle, slow ball or an extra ball.
- First to 7 wins. Stars: win 7–0 to 7–2 for three, up to 7–4 for two.
Tips and strategy
- Stay near the middle between shots — it is the shortest way to any return.
- Angled returns near the side walls are hardest for the computer to reach.
- A curving shot changes direction late; use it against the faster rivals.
