Darts brings the classic pub game to your screen. Drag to aim at any part of the board and let go to throw: a ring around your aim pulses in and out, and the smaller it is when you release, the closer your dart lands. Play 501 — score down to exactly zero, finishing on a double, with checkout suggestions shown for every finish — or race round the board in Around the Clock, hitting 1 to 20 in order and then the bull. Beat Sunday Sam, Club Kim, County Cass and Champion Chen to take the title.
How to play Darts
Goal: Win the leg: reach zero first in 501, or finish the clock (1–20 and the bull) first.
Keyboard & mouse
- Press and drag to aim (the crosshair sits a little above the pointer), release to throw
- Or move the crosshair with the arrow keys and press Space
- Choose the game with 1 (501) or 2 (Around the Clock)
- P or Escape to pause
Phone & tablet
- Touch and drag to aim — the crosshair sits above your finger
- Let go to throw, ideally when the ring is at its smallest
Rules
- You and your opponent take turns of three darts.
- The pulsing ring shows how steady your hand is: release when it is small for an accurate dart.
- 501: each dart’s score is subtracted. You must finish exactly on a double (the outer ring) or the bullseye.
- 501: going below zero, leaving 1, or reaching zero without a double is a bust — that turn’s darts do not count.
- Around the Clock: hit each number from 1 to 20 in order, then the bull. Any ring of the right number counts.
Tips and strategy
- The treble 20 (the thin red band at the top) is worth 60 — aim there to score fast in 501.
- Follow the checkout suggestion when you get below 171.
- Leave yourself an even number: doubles are easier to finish from.
