Ski Slalom is a downhill time trial seen from above. Steer your skier left and right through pairs of red and blue flags: point down the fall line to build speed, carve across the slope to scrub it off, and pick a line that sets you up for the next gate. Every missed gate adds five seconds, and the pines between the gates will knock you flat. Six original courses — from the gentle Nursery run to the tight Black run — each with a par time set by a reference run. Beat par for three stars and chase your best time on every course.
How to play Ski Slalom
Goal: Ski through every gate to the finish in the fastest time.
Keyboard & mouse
- Left/Right (or A/D) to turn
- Down to tuck (faster, but turns slower), Up to brake
- P or Escape to pause
Phone & tablet
- Hold your finger where you want to go — the skier turns towards it
- Hold above the skier to brake
Rules
- Pass between each pair of flags. A missed gate adds 5 seconds.
- Pointing straight down the slope is fastest; turning hard scrubs speed.
- Hitting a tree knocks you down for a moment.
- Finish to clear the course: finish close to par for more stars.
Tips and strategy
- Start your turn before the gate so you come out of it already heading for the next one.
- Tuck on the long straights, but not right before a sharp turn.
- Brake a little rather than miss a gate: five seconds is a lot.
