Snake Rush is a fast, clean take on the grid-crawling classic. Every treat makes your snake one segment longer and, every few bites, a little quicker. Golden bonus treats appear for a few seconds only, so you have to decide whether the detour is worth the risk as the board fills up with your own body. Earn stars to unlock six more maps, from a wrap-around board with no walls to obstacle arenas.
How to play Snake Rush
Goal: Eat as many treats as possible without hitting a wall or your own body.
Keyboard & mouse
- Arrow keys or W A S D to turn
- P or Escape to pause

- Swipe up, down, left or right to turn
- Optional on-screen direction pad
Rules
- Your snake moves on its own; you only choose which way it turns.
- Regular treats are worth 10 points and add one segment.
- Golden bonus treats are worth 30 points but disappear after 6 seconds.
- The snake speeds up every 5 treats, up to a maximum speed.
- You cannot reverse straight back into yourself.
- Score 50, 150 and 300 on a map for 1–3 stars; any star unlocks the next map (wrap-around edges, pillars, arenas and more).
Tips and strategy
- Hug the edges early on to keep the middle of the board open for later.
- Plan your next two turns before grabbing a treat in a tight corridor.
- Skip a bonus treat if reaching it means boxing yourself in.
- Moving into the square your tail is leaving is safe.
